As 2018 comes to an end, we are ready for this 2019.
This has been a fantastic year, I am very grateful for the support of the community in a general way. For me, the most important thing, more than helping, is to be able to touch the people lives in the most positive and meaningful way.
Less than 5 months ago I started this blog in order to reach more people and at the same time offer a place where they can grow professionally, and above all that can help others to grow. Today we ended this year with almost 12 thousand users who visited my page, and more than 35 thousand visits in this short time. Tha’s awesome!
I am grateful, and above all happy, to listen as my advice to the community have helped others to change the path they decided to follow.
Many people have approached me in my talks and workshops for the community with many doubts and confusions about the future to come. Many times these confusions are more emotional than technical.
I share my advice to those confused people who don’t know what direction they are going to follow:
Many times it’s normal not knowing where to go, sometimes we are just following the path without knowing what awaits us at the end. It has happened to all of us and on certain occasions it will continue to happen to us. Define short and long term objectives, visualize yourself in the place where you want to be and how you want to be. This helps us to make better decisions.
A different and unique experience in each interaction is what we get when we are an active member of the community. A community with a thirst to grow, a community that is willing to be your ally. This community is our community.
Our community with a lot of passion for teamwork always willing to open the doors of the Universe Xamarin to all the people who want to be part of this initiative. We will always be knocking on the door to reach more and more people so that they can join this initiative.
With much love and pride I have founded the beggining of this movement that has helped many developers, and I know that it will help many more. I am grateful because it is this initiative, and the projects that are developed in it, that have encouraged more developers to join us.
I am also grateful for those projects that were not completed because thanks to them we can learn from our mistakes in order to try again anew but with more strength.
If I am honest, my life began to change when I made the decision to be part of a community. The benefits offered by being an active member of a community only time rewards it. If you are still not part of a community, I strongly recommend you look for one.
On the other hand, you will most likely see me doing the challenge of the 100 days of development in the Blockchain section . I think it would be interesting for you to know a little more about this technology.
The community this 2019 opens the doors of the Xamarin Universe to reach many more people who want to continue growing professionally within the scope of Xamarin. And at the same time, give the opportunity to get out of the comfort zone by doing whatmost developers and communities don’t do.
Before leaving, I want you to know how much I appreciate your visit, for all the support received. Because thanks to you I stay more motivated, more secure, and more determined.
On behalf of the entire community of Xamarin Universe : Happy New Year 2019! 🎄
