My name is Luis Matos and this my history. In a certain sense I liked to set up the TV for my parents when I was a kid. This being one of my first interactions with technology; as far as I can remember. At the age of 13-14, I started to get involved in technology at a slightly more technical level. At that time I was using Photoshop to create very amazing images of all kinds.
I work independently as a mobile application developer in a small company called Anton, where with some friends we want to bring up. My main focus is to show how you can take advantage of mobile applications adapted to a brand, product, service or a person.
I imagine that you are wondering if I am a designer, programmer, speaker, or a hybrid as I usually say. Not to make the story long, I commented that something very particular in my family is that we have an ability for drawing. It’s something that I can’t explain yet I have not seen anyone taking drawing classes. This’s where everything makes sense in I started with the design tools at an early age.
On the other hand, something that always made me easy to understand is mathematics. I can’t explain this either, I know that mathematics is difficult. When I was just starting out in the university in the Systems Engineering, something very peculiar happened, in the math class, they sent us to do a program with Visual Basic and guess … It was easy for me. And not only that was something that I really enjoyed. I had such a good time that I’m still programming today.
Finally, we have the habit of work. One that my parents endeavored to create since my 11 years old. This and the second technology company that I worked where I met some great friends. We’re always focused on marketing, market, advertising and creativity. Those guys gave me a lot of experience in the area of business. Once we left the company we made the decision to be a freelance and here we are as an Anton Agency.
On the other hand, I have created a Facebook community of mobile development with Xamarin under the name of Xamarin Universe, where OpenSource project initiatives are created to help the Xamarin community and at the same time share experiences that lead us to improve every day.
And this is just the beginning. This is because I say that I am a hybrid, until the next one.
